A. Gerry will populate example modelling group (ticket 359) when questionnaire is live. - ongoing - not needed at telcos so removed

A. Marie-Pierre, Gerry, Rupert discuss off-line the issue of realm names of components should match DRS ones. Marie-Pierre to make a ticket for this. - done

Issues:
I. Will handling TAMIP cause problems for the questionnaire tables? See ticket 683.
I. Marie-Pierre's grid questions.
I. 4th GEO European Projects Workshop - need to make a decision by 20th March. Discuss off line.

- review of actions from previous telco

Lois still firming up M24 deliverable for WP2. Allyn still working on 2 deliverables for wp5 due this month.

- questionnaire news (Bryan, Charlotte)

Questionnaire back as beta 4 on http://q.cmip5.ceda.ac.uk Some bits are broken (e.g. view/validate) as Rupert hasn't had the chance to react to the recent changes.

Ticket 683 - will handling TAMIP cause problems for the questionnaire tables?  We'll have to figure it out as we go. Ticket 684 - how we deal with non-overlapping ensembles. Everyone to comment on tickets 683 and 684. Same problem as decadal. Possible to use a different ensembles type?

  - incl. grids plan

Grids are in the questionnaire now and are everywhere as placeholders. There is a ticket about whether we want it anywhere other than the realm level.

There is a need to specify 2 grids, one for horizontal and one for vertical.

We need to get answers to all of Marie-Pierre's grid questions and resolve them, and Rupert needs to formalise them before the grids bit can get fully populated in the questionnaire. Answers by Monday next week. Bryan will make time to populate grids next week.

Discovery grid information needs to be in the CIM.

Mind map for grids gives the ontology and vocabulary for the grids.

Some browser specific issues with the questionnaire. Charlotte to create a ticket to test questionnaire under different browsers and versions of browsers (ticket 686) . This will allow us to tell users which browsers will or won't work.

- Year 2 reporting

Questionnaire and controlled vocab needs to be collected in one section with information about which work packages were involved. Some will be included in WP2 part of annual report.

Sarah to take the information on the questionnaire and controlled vocabulary out of the various work package reports and harmonise them in a seperate section in the annual report.

We can use what was reported in the year 2 meeting to provide information for the report. Can give links to year 2 meeting and presentations in WP1 report.

- Amendment 2

Everyone to check that the details in NEF for ammendment 2 are correct.

- any other news from:
  - ESG portal news (Sylvia)

Will ESG ever receive empty components? When validation is turned on there won't be empty components. Users have the choice of saying not implemented.

Remove realm below level 1 in the component tree.

If you use the search to find a lower level component, it won't show the upper levels of the tree. Load the address of the parent component to give the user the chance to move up the tree.

Issue with parent in the fact that one component can have many parents. Difference between classes and instances and unconfigured and confgured model.

  - WP4 CIM services (Mark M)

More next week. Telco planned.

  - WP3 CIM population and testing news (Sebastien)
